The company was set up as a trading company on 27 February 2003, under the name of Mogán Gestión Tributaria Municipal, S.L., with capital owned exclusively by Mogán Town Council. Registered in the mercantile register of Las Palmas. Volume: 1641 Book: 0 Page: 14 Section: 8 Sheet: GC 29840.

Social Capital

In the deed of incorporation the share capital is TWENTY THOUSAND EUROS, represented by ONE HUNDRED shares of TWO HUNDRED EUROS nominal value each, numbered sequentially from ONE to ONE HUNDRED, both inclusive, subscribed by the founding partner, the Town Council of Mogán.

Corporate purpose and functions
The company's corporate purpose is focused on collaboration in the collection of taxes, duties, fees, fines, public prices and other local levies in the voluntary and/or enforcement period. According to the Encomienda de Gestión, dated 6 February 2003, this activity will be subject to municipal inspection and supervision and limited to those services and/or actions that do not involve acts of authority. On 7 November 2003, at the General Meeting - which corresponds to the Municipal Plenary - and in order to respond to new needs in the management of the company, the Statutes of the Company were modified, extending the corporate purpose and adapting the corporate name to this new reality. Thus, urban development management and, in general, "the promotion, management and exploitation of any of the goods, services and activities of municipal competence" were incorporated into the company's corporate purpose. The company was renamed Mogán Gestión Municipal, S.L. These agreements were publicly formalised on 18th December 2003 before the notary Mr. Eloy Cuesta Pracias. Under the protection of these agreements, the Municipal Corporation promoted a series of commissions, including the preparation of the General Urban Development Plan, the maintenance of the Municipal Gardens, the construction of the Valle de Mogán Nursery and the Arguineguín Swimming Pool, the pumping of water from Playa de Mogán, the refurbishment of the Barrio del Horno Day Centre, the extension of the Occupational Centre, the refurbishment of the headquarters of the Department for Gender Equality, ..... At the same time, a series of initiatives have been taken to modernise the management of the company: the opening of new, suitably equipped offices, the renovation of computer equipment, the promotion of agreements with the Tax Agency and the Canary Islands Treasury for collection outside the municipal area, a web page, agreements with third parties to update the database and cadastral registrations.
